Comodo

Perfect

Some days, I feel like a robot programmed to do the same thing day in, day out and never make mistakes. But as sure as I’m sitting here, I’m homo sapiens. Being an online entrepreneur sailing the cyber seas doesn’t make me any less human, I don’t think LOL.

On one occasion, I sent out an e-mail with links that didn’t work like they were supposed to, and I had to resend it later when I discovered oops, what have I done?

Almost immediately, I received an un-subscribe request containing a highly descriptive Flowery word. I can’t help but be faintly amused at the lengths some people would go to when a simple one word, un-subscribe, would’ve done just fine.

After all, it was the kind of slip-up that could’ve happened to anyone. You know, stuff like broken links, missing info, typos, little imperfections…

Which leads me to think people think we’re a bunch of robots sitting here running these online businesses of ours and we’re not supposed to mess up, not even when we’re juggling a million other things all screaming for our attention.

Question is, is it okay to be less than perfect when you’re juggling home, family, a part-time job or two plus a couple of home businesses, you think?
