Things to do in the next few days

Hi, how was your Christmas? I hope you had a good time. I spent mine right here, in front of my PC, doing some of the things I recommended in my own article “Is your home business ready for the new year?” Gotta practise what I preach… (LOL)
I’m doing loads of archiving. In fact, I’m archiving my entire business and backing everything up into DVDs, and labelling them 2005 Archives with some notes on what each contains.
Tell you what else I’m doing. I’m setting up my business calendar for next year, basically putting my plans on paper. There are lots of recurring things that can be filled in first. The rest, you can fill them in later as you go along.
Whatever ideas pop to mind, I scribble them down. Every idea is precious. What seems crazy and far-fetched right now may be the business idea that sends your cash register into shock next year (LOL). You never know?
This post-holiday lull is a great window to get some of these backoffice activities out of the way in the next few days. When business kicks off in the new year, you’ll have freed yourself from some of these mundane chores and be able to focus fully on cranking up that cash register!
