a bird’s eye view on running your global business from home

The best place to host your site or blog

Posted on April 5, 2007 |

One of the things I found about running an online business is the importance of having my sites and blogs up and running 24 hours. Without them, you’re basically not in business.

So you really can’t afford to have your site/blog going down and becoming inaccessible to visitors who drop in, find a dead site and never ever visit again. Most times, it’s hard enough just getting them to click on your link.

My previous web host drove me nuts because it always seemed to crash when I was running a promo and visitors weren’t able to access the site and my emails were getting stuck at the host. It was the most frustrating infuriating thing ever. Can’t get over how much business I’ve lost there.

But things have been smooth-sailing this year since I moved over to my new host. There’s been no downtime, zero, zilch, nada… and well, I’m happy as a kid with a handful of candy.

Speaking of candy, the guys at LunarPages are giving out some really sweet deals with their hosting package. You get a free domain when you sign up for hosting. And their fast reliable support is heaven-sent if you’re a newbie. And even if you’re a seasoned website/blog owner, fast reliable support is still always a big plus.

• Downright Affordable Web Hosting $6.95/mo.
• FREE Domain For Life
• $700 CoffeeCup Software FREE
• Additional Domain Names $2.99 Each
• Host 10 Sites On One Account
• Award Winning Customer Support

They’re the most reliable hosting folks around so I recommend you check them out. Honestly I wouldn’t be telling you this if I hadn’t tried them out first-hand myself. So go see what I’m raving about.
