Establishing customer trust (1)

In online business dealings, establishing trust is not something that happens overnight. Often it’s something you need to work on over a period of time to prove yourself.
One of the things I do is to ensure that I deliver on what I promise. That’s my way of proving to my customer that what I say counts and he can trust me on that. I have found this to be a great way to build trust.
This has worked out so well for me that even if I am late responding to a customer’s order (for reasons outside my control), they actually tell that they weren’t worried because they knew I would get to them eventually. This is exactly the level of trust you want to build with your customers. Try it.

That seems like a very important thing to work on, especially for an online business where it’s so easy to find another option.
I believe that we all need clients who trust our capability in providing services. Having none means that we are not effective at giving services that satisfies our clients.
I agree with Court. Establishing customer trust is important in online businesses because people don’t usually meet personally. Besides, there are hackers who can easily manipulate your account.
Great points, everyone. We just got to keep working at it.
It’s indeed hard to earn the trust of your customer. I agree that we need to prove to them that we are trustworthy and that we are willing to spend time in offering our services.
Yep, it takes a bit of work but it’s so worth it in the long run.
