Establishing customer trust (2)

First time transactions over the internet may be stressful for many of your customers simply because they don’t know you.
So they can’t be sure you won’t run off with their money and not deliver on your product or service.
With first time customers, I try to allay some of their fears by letting them know as quickly as possible that I’ve received their payment and when I will be delivering on their order.
This reduces their anxiety and puts them at ease and immediately increases their trust level in you. Definitely a good start to a new business relationship, and a great reinforcement to current ones.

This is a great principle for all people to follow. I work for a business development company. We go through an orientation process to help them transition into the education and to show legitimacy and that we care about their success and well-being. Fear destroys so much with customers. Great thoughts.
