Mind mapping your way to better organization

Posted on July 14, 2007 |

Working from home and wearing a dozen hats at a time, I’m constantly in need of reminders and ways to remember dates and tasks. I’ve read a couple of Tony Buzan’s books in the hopes that mind maps will help.

A great information source for mind mapping and concept maps is Graphic.org. You can learn more about the graphical approach to organizing information, and once you’ve learnt it, you can even use it to help your kids with school.

I believe some schools have started incorporating mind maps into their curriculum. It’s an excellent organization and memory tool especially in our modern lifestyle of information overload and overscheduling.

On Graphic.org, you can read more about the approach to mind mapping with links to sites that provide further information. Go take a look. I’m sure you’ll find out things you probably didn’t know before and decide to give mind mapping a go.
