The office classroom

A cousin of mine has just joined a Japanese company. We’re very happy for her, of course, seeing that it’s her first job and that she’d be getting decent pay.
She’s not that happy though. She hates that the office desks are arranged classroom style with her boss sitting up front where the teacher would sit.
There are no cubicles which means her boss can clearly see who is slacking. My cousin can’t believe that she just hopped from the college classroom right into an office classroom 
!
