Email and comment spam, now phone spam?

I seem to be besieged by cell phone spam now (as if email and comment spam aren’t enough to contend with already). I’m getting offers to sign up for all sorts of rubbishy courses, internet services and even ringtones that I don’t need.
Quite honestly, it’s driving me up the wall. I just don’t get it. Do these spammers really think that the more spam we get, the more they’ll be able to convince us to buy from them? NOT!
So really, to all you spammers out there, you’re just wasting your time. You might as well put your persistence to better use by setting up a legit business and woo your customers the good, old-fashioned way by gaining their trust.
