Getting lost can cost you

I used to have this phobia about arriving late at meetings. In the city, you can never know for sure how bad the traffic is going to be and how long it will take you to get some place.
Once I flunked out of a job interview because I arrived an hour late. A tree had fallen across the road in the city causing a massive traffic jam. Although I’d given myself plenty of time to get there, apparently that wasn’t enough.
To make it worse, I got detoured to an alternative route that I wasn’t familiar with and ended up getting quite lost. More precious time wasted.
If only I had GPS, surely that would’ve helped some. If you travel a lot in your business, you should consider installing one. I’m not kidding 
.
