Is your monitor mounted?

Let’s say if I bought an LCD monitor, you know the flat screen one, I wonder if I’d be able to have it mounted on a tv mount. I’d kinda like to have my screen further away but I don’t have space on my desk to place it far away enough.
It’s pretty uncomfortable when the screen is too near my face and I have to work long hours staring into it. After a while, I tend to become sorta cross-eyed and dizzy. Has anyone tried mounting their computer monitor before?
