How to make the most of your busy day
Posted on April 27, 2008 |
There’s this very common misconception that those of us who work at home have all the time in the world to do what little we have to do. Nothing can be further from the truth.
Contrary to this, our schedules are often so full that we find it hard to fit everything into our day and end up working late into the night. Even after years of working at home, I still can’t say I’ve perfected the fine art of time management because my schedule is often a moving target.
Often my day is broken into small time slots between bus runs and household chores. I typically spend the longest stretches of available time on work that requires undisturbed concentration like writing blog posts, working on ad campaigns, etc.
The smaller slots of time are used for mundane administrative tasks that can be done in small bites and don’t require quite as much focus. These include reading and answering emails, researching, networking, etc.
How do you make the most of your busy day wearing the many hats of a home business owner?

Hi Clair I totaly agree with you. My Mom and sister think I have all the time in the world and don’t need to be at home to get my work done! lol. It’s the opposite. It takes me time to write my blog, articles and ezine. In fact it’s been incredibly hard for me after not writing for a long time and my mind goes blank. I find that I am more fatigued the older I get. I want to mention that drinking Cheia Vida and Fruta Vida help me to write better and become less fatigued. I am glad I have those 2 drinks to fight my daily fatigue.
Have a great weekend
