A reader wrote in to say that she’s hesitating on starting a home business because she’s “not technically inclined and if I should hit a technical hitch, then I’ll be left hanging high and dry”.
Not necessarily. First off, there’s lots of help you can get online these days. Secondly and more cheaply, you can learn to DIY. So what if you can tell the difference between a HDMI wall plate and a USB cable? You can always learn.
It takes time, yes but if you ask around, do some reading on your own, observe others and make some mistakes on your own, you’ll pick up enough basics to keep you running.
