Start your packing early

When we were moving office years ago, we got the movers in and I guess that meant we practically didn’t have to lift a finger. Well, that’s not entirely true. The movers were there to handle the bigger stuff while we still had to handle the small bits ourselves.
Like packing our stationery and files into boxes so that when the movers came in, they were basically there to start grabbing and moving boxes into the waiting vans. The lesson I learnt from this was not to leave our own packing till the last minute.
I don’t know about you but it’s really hard to keep a straight head when the movers are hovering all around, impatiently waiting to grab the boxes off you so they can get a move on.
