A nice way to say thanks for your business

Posted on November 14, 2008 |

Our customers are our number priority and we should always be thinking of ways to show them that we appreciate them, don’t you think? I certainly think it’s time and money well spent acknowledging that our customers are important to us and that we value their business.

Thanksgiving is coming up, as you all know, and I’m considering doing something then instead of at Christmas as we usually do, if nothing else, just to be different.

Most companies I’ve worked for send out Seasons’ Greetings cards or corporate gifts like diaries and plaques towards the end of the year. Corporate gifts tend to be pretty cold, if you know what I mean.

So I’m thinking we could create a great impression by tying in the idea of customer appreciation with Thanksgiving by sending them one of these Thanksgiving centerpieces instead.

What do you think? Isn’t this a pretty spiffy way of thanking a customer for their business? I’d say so, especially if you’re a home business owner who has built a great rapport with your customers on a personal level.

You don’t agree? You think this isn’t corporate-looking enough? Not to worry, there’s a brilliant selection of flowers, plants and gift baskets for all occasions at 1-800flowers.com that you can choose from.

They’re offering free shipping and no service charge on selected items right now. And for the procrastinators among us, same-day deliveries can be easily arranged. Best of all, since business is so globalized these days, you can even send floral gifts internationally to your clients/customers anywhere in the world.

I think that’s a great idea. Adds a personal touch to the gift as oppose to the generic cards that most places send out.

These could be a great idea where it seems that you are getting out of conventional ways of giving gifts during these festive season. I do agree with Jerrod, by adding card with your handwritten can make the gifts more meaningful.
