Out of business in two months?

About two months, I was told about a brand new restaurant that’s running a $1 food promotion during off peak hours on weekdays only. It sounded really great so I made a mental note to go try it.
Weekdays are incredibly busy for me and it’s not easy for me to find time during the stipulated hours. But yeah, last Friday, I finally found myself with some time on my hands and decided to go eat there.
On my way there, by sheer coincidence, I ran into the person who’d told me about this promotion, only this time he laughed and said the restaurant has closed down in the past few days. I guess I won’t be needing the best diet pills in town to work off what I’d been planning to eat there!
I was truly surprised. I’ve passed by the restaurant a couple of times and it looked to be a fairly large concern, newly renovated with a full team of staff. Food is good business, everyone knows that. So how could a business like this close down in two months? Now that’s pretty scary!
