In any brick and mortar business, location is an important factor. We really can’t stray very far from that. Back in college, I did a study of someone’s business and location was the reason why they weren’t more successful.
So if you’re looking to set up or relocate or expand your business, consider location. In the Texas area, Harlingen is located at the crossroads of the Rio Grande Valley with inroads fanning out to the Americas.
With such a central location in the Valley, Harlingen has many advantages to offer in terms of a Texas location that’s close to the neighboring markets of Mexico. Apparently the area is getting really busy because of the opportunities it offers.
In fact, many big companies like Panasonic and Cardone Industries (the world’s largest re-manufacturer of auto parts), have established themselves in the area and are now reaping the benefits of this centralized business location.
I hear Harlingen is very well developed and offers a quality of life that is attractive to potential employees. If you’ve ever had to hire people, you know how stressful that can be. So if there’s any way to reduce the potential problem of staffing, it sure is good for business.
