Paid or free domain?

So should you blog on your own domain name or on a free platform like blogspot? I’d say if yours is a business-related blog or one that you eventually would like to see as a business blog, then you should definitely consider purchasing your own domain. It may not look like it makes a lot of difference – a URL that says http://www.hemorrhoidtreatment.org or yourbiz.com or yourblog.blogspot.com.
But if you want to be taken seriously, you really should switch to a paid domain with your own hosting. It’s not a lot of money or effort, and you would really be seen in a much more professional light if you use your own domain.
