three kinds of tea
I was browsing a magazine at the pool and came across an article after my own heart. It was about the health benefits of drinking two cups of tea a day.
I’m a tea lover and a cup of tea certainly helps to calm my flustered nerves after a day of running around. The article was interesting because I discovered a couple of things I didn’t know about tea before.
There areĀ 3 types of tea that you could choose from. First, there’s green tea, or Japanese tea, which I absolutely adore for its very rich herbal smell and taste.
Then there’s black tea. The article listed no examples of what black tea might be. But I’m guessing it would be Chinese tea like oolong, tikuanyin or something like that which is very dark colored if brewed thick.
The one that really puzzled me was white tea. What on earth is white tea? Never heard of this term though I’m pretty sure if they’d given some examples, I would recognize them instantly. I’m guessing it would be teas like jasmine or chrysanthemum but I can’t be sure.
