moon and stars

This year, the older cousins who are still single, bore the brunt of the ‘merciless’ jokes initiated by the elders in an effort to get them married off.
Once you get to the ripe old age of 30 and you’re still not married, you can almost bet everyone in the family will be on your case the minute they see you (LOL).
The chiding was all in good fun but I couldn’t help feeling slightly sorry for my cousins. I guess love is not something you can summon up just like that at a moment’s notice.
The moon and stars have to be aligned for love to spark, that’s what I always say. And for some, the moon and stars are just plain taking their own sweet time to line up (LOL).
