count down

When working out in sets of 10 or 15, I used to count forwards meaning 1, 2, 3….
What I’ve found is that counting backwards seems to make my workout seem easier and quicker to finish.
I think it’s purely psychological, of course. The fact that you’re going from a bigger number to a smaller one makes it seem like you’re getting to the finish quicker

- something for my new niece
- a new home for our fish
- work hard but won’t spend
- plogging along with grace
