a piece of Spanish action
I was watching a documentary on the annual bull runs in Spain famed for their spectacle and excitement. Apparently in July every year, thousands of people pack Spain’s bull-running fiestas that run for 7 days.
I can imagine the thrill of having the bulls let out onto the street. Then of course, I closed my eyes when a young man got swiped off his feet and carried around on the bull’s horns for a long way and then dunked.
Spain is a popular destination for colorful, cultural excitement. Luckily cheap hotels in Spain aren’t hard to find. They’re always packed with people from all over the world who want a piece of the action.
There are loads of other not-to-be-missed festivals and sporting events in Madrid, Barcelona and other smaller cities. When I’m done watching the documentary series, I’ll know exactly what events happen where in Spain.
