drivin’ me up the wall!

City driving is becoming more aggravating these days. Granted that everyone is trying to get to some place in a hurry, it doesn’t mean throwing caution to the wind, you know what I mean?

Today on the way to the mechanic, the car on my left turned right into my path just as I was going straight!

In that split second, I could’ve sworn my brain went into a semi-blank as I slammed on the brakes and the horn at the same time. Pretty nifty reaction, huh, considering I’m still sleep-deprived from the Blogathon Saturday night?

My secret wish is to have a chauffeur so I can just close my eyes in the backseat and be oblivious to the stress of city driving.

You know what? I can’t afford one right now but hey, if anyone would like to be my part-time chauffeur, I promise to pay you in chocolates  .

  1. I just try to ignore them as much as possible.

Try this sometime for a joke if it happens to you once in a while.

If you ever get some socially challenged driver honk at you, turn around and wave at him like it’s your long lost buddy! It’s great to see the shocked look on their faces. They eventually wave back with a stunned bunny look on them, it’s priceless!!!

  2. You’re too funny, Chris . Appreciate the tip, can’t wait to try it out. Hope it works!
