the long crawl

Can you believe we were out till 2:00am watching a fireworks competition just outside the city? It was incredible in a number of ways 
.
Well, for one, the fireworks was spectacular. No other way to describe it! It just held us completely mesmerized the whole time.
Now the drive back is another story. We got caught in a massive traffic jam just leaving the place. At one point, we just switched off the car engine and sat there listening to music and chatting.
