Gimme A Break

I’m just back from a wedding dinner, a record-breaking one, I have to say. Typically a sit-down wedding dinner takes over 4 hours due to all the inadvertent delays of people arriving late, traffic jams, etc.

Amazingly this dinner took all of 3 hours including traveling time. It was beautiful, the drive was smooth and the food was fairly good. The bride was the prettiest I’ve seen in a long while.

I had a great conversation with the lady seated next to me at the dinner table. So did I have a good evening? I’d say, yes!
