the footsteps of Pirates
From the number of times I’ve mentioned Pirates of the Caribbean on this blog, I’m sure you guys know what great fans we are.
We’ve just watched a re-run of it on TV a couple of weeks ago and there’s just no way we can get over talking about going on a Caribbean vacation.
And where are the Caribbeans? the kids ask. Since they’re old enough, I told them to just do an online search or go to Wikipedia and find out themselves.
It so happened that there was a travel segment on TV featuring holidays in other tropical beach destinations. The kids mentioned that they heard that the Pirates movie was filmed either in the Bahamas or on the Cayman Islands.
So does that mean we now have more travel choices? Yes, mom, let’s trace the pirates’ footsteps to the beaches in the Bahamas. Or just a short pirates’ vacation on the Cayman Islands. Purty please with a cherry on top. Kids
