want to live to be 125? try this!

After all the rich food I’ve been eating this week, I’m craving noodles. These days, I seem to eat more pasta than noodles. Yeah, I know pasta is a kind of noodles but then again, there are so many kinds of noodles and different methods of cooking them.

Stir-fried rice noodles with seafood, and tomyam (spicy Thai-style) soup over rice noodles are my lunch favorites. Sometimes I get the yellow noodles in dark sauce with barbecued pork at the store, or I cook them myself if I have time and ingredients.

When I was young, we used to make the yellow noodles ourselves. It’s just like making pasta. You pull the dough into long threads and boil them for a bit before adding the dark sauce and seasoning.

Very yummy and a must for birthdays because the long strands of noodles signify longevity, so if you want to live to be 125, you got to have noodles on your birthday. Try it and let me know if it works, okay :wink: ?
