walrus Saturday
You would not believe I stayed home the whole of yesterday. Yes, being home for an entire Saturday is rare for me. I guess it was just one of those days that wore on while I was trying to figure out where to go.
I’d done the groceries on Friday. My neighbor brought over some food from her son’s first birthday party. We weren’t invited because she figured my brood of teens would be bored to pieces at a kiddy party. But it was nice of her to bring over some of the goodies. It saved me going out for lunch.
The afternoon was hot so I dilly-dallied about going out and instead spent the day backing up my files and upgrading my blogs, die-hard procrastinator that I am. And you know how time-consuming that can be. So the day wore on and we all just basked around like walruses under the fan to keep the heat away :lol: .
