am I doing anything wrong?
There’s this stretch of road under the flyover that always has me puzzled. It seems that very often, after I turn in from under the flyover, there’ll be a bunch of policemen waiting there to book errant drivers.
For what offense I haven’t figured out yet. I’ve been wracking my brains trying to figure out what a driver must do to get caught on that stretch, and quite frankly there’s nothing I can see that would explain it.
Thing is I want to know so I can avoid doing what they’re doing wrong. But heck, I can’t figure it out. So each time I’m on that stretch of road, I start going through my mental checklist.
Did I run the red light? No, check. Was I speeding? No, check. Did I forget to renew my road tax? No, check. Did I forget to renew my car insurance? No, check. Did I forget my seat belt? No, check.
Am I safe now? Can I heave a sigh of relief now? I drive by confidently. Whew!
