make a list to save money

Just as we’d turned the corner out of the PC Fair yesterday, my dear friend called to ask us to buy some CAT6 cables for him that he forgot to buy when he was there himself.

Grrr. We’d just left the place and there was no way we would’ve turned back into that mess of a parking lot. It took us a half hour to find a spot when we got there.

It was his own fault he didn’t make a list of what he wanted to buy. With sales like these which happens only once or twice a year, you’d best make a list to save yourself the disappointment of forgetting something you could’ve saved you money.

It’s too late now. My friend didn’t get his cables and the fair is over.
