keeping an ‘eye’ on your kids
Just a couple of weeks ago, I was driving around with a GPS device connected to my car windscreen. I don’t use it when I’m in familiar territory but it’s a great little device to have at my beck and call since I have a knack for losing my way
.
My GPS will come in handy when my son learns to drive soon. I figure it’ll be a matter of time before we’re going to need to find some way to keep track of where he’s at when he takes the car out for a spin. Or even just to help him find his way around.
To be honest, the GPS unit that I have is not as slim as some others. The one from GTX Corp, for instance, is matchbox-sized which makes it so convenient to handle. It can live-track someone and render it on Google maps.
I’m really getting to like what my GPS can do. I imagine something like this could be effectively used to ‘keep an eye’ on kids and elderlies in crowded places too. It’s almost becoming too often to hear public service announcements in the shopping mall reporting lost kids who’ve strayed away from their parents.
