Gimme A Break

Yesterday I met another mommy while waiting for my daughter at her school. The only thing I can say about her is that she can’t stop talking. I’ve never met her before. Apparently her kids have just transferred over from another school.

I’m all for being friendly and all. But this woman was starting to wear me out pretty quick with her non-stop chattering. I don’t think she even stopped for breath!!

Instinctively I started to switch her off although she remained a bee buzzing in my ear. Duh! I kept wishing the school bell would ring and when it finally did, I heaved such a visibly huge sigh of relief I’m sure she’d have noticed if she hadn’t been so caught up with her talking.
