a new faucet for nothing

A guy from the Water Department paid me a visit today. He was almost done changing the faucet head when he rang my door bell. But he insisted someone at my house had called him about the water being slow and for someone to come fix it. It sure wasn’t me and it sure wasn’t DH.

It got me so puzzled I decided to call up the Water Department for an explanation. As I expected, no one knew what the heck was going on but they promised to get the Maintenance people to call me back.

Which they did. Rather promptly too, I might add. I was expecting to have to wait at least a couple of days to hear back, going by their track record. But they called me back in the afternoon to say they’d fixed the problem at the WRONG house!!!

Okay, so I got a shiny new faucet head for nothing! How’s about that :lol: ??
