all the time in the world to smell the roses
I think I must be watching too much of Discovery Travel and Living these days, so much so I’m starting to daydream about luxury holidays in Perigord Pourpre in the French countryside.
It would be so easy to rent one of those large holiday villas in Orne and just kick back for a couple of weeks. I think that’s what I’d really like to do when the kids are done with school and I have free time on my hands, you know.
Or maybe just spend some time in the luxurious farmhouses in Morbihan and experience the simple things in life. Man, wouldn’t that be everyone’s dream come true?
I have to admit I’m often envious when friends tell me they’re off on yet another holiday at some exotic destination. People with all the time and money in the world to take their time smelling the roses, don’t you just wish you were in their shoes?
