Dumbledores no more
I’m not sure what it is about CSI that entrances kids. I think it’s all rather icky. But apparently quite a number of college kids are pursuing forensic science as a direct result of watching CSI.
I guess with access to free online drug reference tool for medical websites and all the fancy technology that doctors get to play with these days, it’s generated a whole new interest in the field.
I remember once taking Steev to see a doctor while we were in Australia and he had to grab a thick medical book off his dusty shelf and thumb through the pages to find out what ailed Steev.
That struck me as being somewhat old-fashioned, you know, like something Dumbledore would do
. But that was years ago and I’m glad doctors can reference info online so easily now.
