Gimme A Break

We’re finally getting some rain. It stayed cloudy all of yesterday and rained intermittently throughout the day. How cool is that.. literally!

Today is starting out rainy as well. I love morning rain. In fact, I opened up all my windows yesterday just to listen to the falling rain. It sounds so beautiful to a city dweller like me .

I mean, it’s the sound of nature and how often do we get to hear it? Well, actually we do hear birds singing in the mornings and see the occasional squirrel dart across the street in the suburbs.
