Gimme A Break

I was chatting with a girl friend on the phone last night. Well, it looks like she’s leaving on another vacation. Yes, I guess the weakening economy never stopped anyone from traveling to far-flung destinations for a good time. Sigh!

This was someone who used to complain when her husband whisked her away on a holiday. She hated long haul flights because of having to fuss with her contact lenses and making sure her eyes were well hydrated in flight.

Well, not since she got her Lasik done and her eyesight corrected, she hasn’t complained about flying any more. Of course she’s been trying to convince me to go for it ever since. I’m just too chicken .
