shoes vanished!

Can you believe I lost a pair of wedge heels? Well, it simply disappeared from my car. I usually keep an extra pair of shoes in my car as I’ve been known to rush out in my slippers only to realize that oops, I haven’t even got proper shoes on 
!
Hence, the extra pair of just-in-case shoes that I always keep handy. Now it’s vanished without a trace! I can’t figure out how that could’ve happened. I haven’t sent my car to the mechanic’s so that couldn’t be where I lost it. I’ve looked all over the house, inside out! Nope! What do you think?
