We’ve been working out really hard at the gym and didn’t want to pile everything back on in one sitting. Yep, we’re such boring folks .

Here’s wishing everyone a safe and blessed Thanksgiving! And a fantastic Black Friday if you’re making a dash for the stores in the wee hours .

Me and my teens trawled the mall looking for holiday gifts. My only complaint is that gifts get harder to buy each year because just as I don’t like giving the same gift every year, I’m sure people don’t like receiving the same old either.

I’m starting to see the value in gift card. I don’t know why I never thought of this before but giving gift cards can really save me the big headache of cracking my head over what to buy for each person.

And me being someone who likes to give practical gifts, I just take so much pain trying to think of nice gift ideas that are both practical and within my budget.

But hey, if I give someone a gift card, they probably appreciate it more since they can pick out something they like or need. So yep, great idea, that’s what I’ll be doing this year. Problem solved! Now on with my own shopping!

She won’t be traveling alone though. Her in-laws and a group of their friends are going to tag along as well, not specifically for her daugther’s graduation, but it’s more of their yearly pilgrimage to some exotic destination.

Good for you, I told her, because you get to spread the cost when you travel in a group. She’s not too excited about traveling with her in-laws, of course, but then again, if it means she can take advantage of the Charter bus NYC to take them sightseeing, I guess it’s not such a bad idea after all.

The bus charter service is great for sending the old folks off on a daytrip. The bus will take them to amusement parks and other places of interest while she spends some quality time with her daughter.

It’s going to work out great! I hope she has a good trip (she really deserves it!) and traveling in a group helps save her some money in the process.

It’s easy to overeat when you’re catching up with family and friends you haven’t seen in a while. While I was sitting there listening to stories of who has recently bought a new house or a new Jaeger Master and who is planning to get married this year and who has problems conceiving, I tell you, it’s just so hard not to keep stuffing food into my mouth.

Well, firstly it’s because I don’t want to be rude and interrupt so by continuing to eat, I will appear to be listening attentively. Also I’m a person of relatively few words which makes me a good listener and a good eater. ’nuff said!
